Publication Ethics

Lenggok Cendikia: Education, Social and Humanities Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, are expected to maintain academic integrity, transparency, and professionalism.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are required to:

  1. Present research findings honestly, objectively, accurately, and responsibly.
  2. Ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  3. Properly acknowledge and cite all sources used in the manuscript.
  4. Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, data manipulation, and duplicate publication.
  5. Disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research or publication process.
  6. Revise the manuscript in accordance with the comments and recommendations provided by the editor and reviewers.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

  1. Evaluating manuscripts based solely on their scholarly merit, originality, and relevance without discrimination.
  2. Maintaining the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts throughout the editorial process.
  3. Making publication decisions based on the results of the peer-review process.
  4. Avoiding conflicts of interest in editorial decision-making.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  1. Conduct reviews objectively, professionally, constructively, and within the agreed review period.
  2. Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts under review.
  3. Provide constructive comments and recommendations to improve the quality of the manuscript.
  4. Notify the editor if they identify plagiarism, duplicate publication, or any other ethical concerns.

Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (similarity checker). Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or other forms of publication misconduct will be rejected. If ethical violations are identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the published article in accordance with established publication ethics guidelines.
