Lenggok Cendikia: Education, Social and Humanities Journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity by ensuring that all submitted manuscripts are original scholarly works and free from plagiarism and other forms of publication misconduct.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a similarity check using plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar applications, before proceeding to the peer-review process.

Screening Requirements

1. Submitted manuscripts must be original works of the authors, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration for publication in another journal.
2. Authors must properly acknowledge and cite all references used in the manuscript according to the journal’s prescribed citation style.
3. Similarity checking is conducted by the editor as part of the initial editorial screening process.
4. The acceptable similarity index is a maximum of 20%, provided that there is no significant similarity from a single source (generally not exceeding 5% from one source).
5. The similarity percentage is not the only basis for evaluation. Editors also consider the type of similarity, citation context, direct quotations, technical terms, references, and methodological sections where similarities may naturally occur.
6. Manuscripts exceeding the permitted similarity threshold will be returned to authors for revision or rejected if serious plagiarism is identified.
7. If plagiarism or other ethical violations are discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, retract the article, or take other appropriate actions in accordance with publication ethics guidelines.

Forms of Misconduct

The following practices are considered violations of academic integrity:

• Direct plagiarism.
• Partial plagiarism.
• Paraphrasing without proper citation.
• Self-plagiarism, including duplicate publication or reuse of one's own work without adequate acknowledgment.
• Research data fabrication and falsification.

Authors’ Responsibility

Authors are fully responsible for the originality and integrity of their submitted manuscripts. By submitting an article to this journal, authors confirm that the manuscript is their original work, does not infringe upon the rights of others, and complies with scholarly publication ethics standards.
